If you are experiencing unexpected weather conditions at your departure or destination, please first ensure that you have loaded a flight plan into Active Sky!
Without a flight plan, AS cannot know your intended airports, and will instead use potentially conflicting data in interpolation algorithms. This is due to the cell-based depiction system used in most simulators, only one set of conditions can be depicted within a cell that may contain several weather stations/conditions data. To avoid this potential scenario, always load a flight plan. This way your intended airports are given priority and you get the weather depicted the way you are expecting in all phases of flight.
By default, AS automatically loads flight plans that are loaded into the simulator. So the easiest way to load your flight plan in AS is to just load it into your simulator as part of your normal pre-flight routine.
If your unexpected conditions are not resolved by loading a flight plan, please see our article on obtaining Technical Support: https://hifisimtech.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408928244503.
